Adirondack Canoe Classic (90-Miler)
September 10-12, 2021
Please register all participants sharing a boat at the same time. When registering more than one person, register one, add to basket, then register additional people.
This event can accommodate a maximum field of 275 boats. Pre-registration is required. Registration does not guarantee a spot in the race. The selection process for the 2021 Adirondack Canoe Classic field is designed to both bring aboard new paddlers and retain race veterans. All racers who make the field of 275 boats will be listed on the 2021 participation roster which will be published on our website by July 31. Registrants that did not make the final list will be refunded in the first week of August.
In response to COVID guidance, we have made adjustments to the start order. We expect that these changes will avoid congestion on the portages. We have also adjusted cut-off times and locations to ensure that all participants are maintaining the requisite speed to finish within the event time limits. Please consider the new wave order when choosing which boat class to register for (scroll down to see "Start Times & Cutoffs" tab on this page).
Boat Classes: The Adirondack Canoe Classic offers a variety of boat classes, described in detail here (scroll down the page to "Rules & Specs").

Every racer must wear a U.S. Coast Guard-approved personal floatation device (PFD). This PFD must be worn at all times. Failure to comply will result in disqualification and forfeiture of entry fee. Note: Any coastguard approved inflatable PFD satisfies this requirement, ensuring that a PFD will not restrict performance.
NFCT will follow all NY State guidance regarding COVID safety in hosting this event. Regardless of guidance, we will require all participants to show proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test taken within 72 hours of the event.
