Saturday, June 13, 10am

On Saturday June 13, join the Lamoille River Paddlers Trail, Johnson Town Recreation and the Northern Forest Canoe Trail for a non-competitive bike on the Rail Trail to Crossing Falls (just upstream from Manchester’s Mill on River Road East and then paddle down the Lamoille back to the start). 3 miles on the bike trail then 3 miles of easy flowing river to Moog’s Joint.

Registration and shuttle boats starting at 10.

Saddle up the bikes and head east on the Rail Trail at 11 sharp.

Location: Meet to register at the former Moog’s Joint, Rt 15 west of Johnson village near south of the bridge over the Lamoille River. Google Map of meeting location and cycling and paddling route.

Canoes and Kayaks will be dropped off at Crossing Falls, then drive back to Moog’s for the start of the bike tour. We will have an attendant at Crossing Falls put-in watch over the boats and gear.

We will have grilled hotdogs and fixings for all at the finish. It is free fishing day so bring a rod and try for a trophy trout!

PFDs required to be worn (paddling) and helmets (bicycling).

This is a free event and open to all, family friendly. No boat? No problem, email

Eric at ericnuse@gmail.com and we’ll arrange a loaner!
