This year, we aim to raise $40,000 to purchase a new work truck for our roving stewardship crew.
For over 10 years, our trusty 2000 Toyota Tundra has hauled people, gear, materials and more across some of the Northern Forest’s most rugged terrain. Since 2015, our team has completed 89 projects, which flat out wouldn’t have been possible without a dependable work vehicle. Simply calling it a work truck is an understatement, too — our truck is a kitchen, a mobile infirmary, a spare bedroom, a workshop, a storage unit, an office, a shuttle vehicle and so much more.
We won’t be saying goodbye to our Tundra just yet. Last year, we expanded the size of our stewardship program, dedicating a crew to the Allagash Wilderness Waterway while maintaining our roving crew to travel from state to state. Our current work truck will be assigned to the Allagash crew, where it will travel less but remain vital to our success nonetheless.
We hope you’ll make a gift to our Trail Fund so we can purchase a new work truck for the roving crew. We’ve got a lot of ground to cover, and your support will ensure we get to where we need to be, with everything in tow.
Thank you so much for your generosity.
